  • Mineralogy of the Upper Mantle and Transition Zone, modeling of realistic Mantle mineralogy, applications of high-pressure mineral physics to the dynamics of the Earth’s interiors

  • Physical (esp. elastic) properties of mantle minerals at high-pressures and high-temperatures by Brillouin spectroscopy and Synchrotron radiation.

  • X-Ray microdiffraction techniques at high pressure and temperature.
